Birds of a feather....flock together?

There's a set of friends I meet up with atleast once a month....

It just dawned on me, that we have our fair share of problems...and non of us have our dads....

Weird coincidence.... not at all a good one.

But atleast, that puts us all in an understanding position.. and I think it helps us better relate to one another.


My brain sure does pick up strange things.

The pathway...

The creepy silence around me
Stalls me and makes me wonder
Have I lost purpose in life?
Have I given up on something?
Have I decided to let go of certain things?
Or am I waiting for the time to come, to embark on things I’ve waited to do for a long time...

One mundane day sets in after another
As I strive to break the web of boredom
That glues me onto unchanging walls
Tick tock tick tock, time runs out
What is my destination? Where do I turn off?

Time off

I've felt very over-worked lately and felt like I was really driven off the edge. So I took a week off work and relaxed at home.

It felt great! though I'm really sad that it's already Sunday night and that it's over. I also wish the heat wasn't so bad.

Every time my mum sweats, she doesn't think it's because of the heat, but her hypochondriac mind tells her that she might be getting a heart attack any time soon. Along with that, she also gets a sudden pain in her arm. oh well... and the best part is that her cholesterol is quite low as of the latest report.

Other than that drama, I've managed to start and finish reading 2 awesome books, For the love of a son & Who will cry when you die.

I've finished watching Dexter upto the end of season 5 and I'm just madly in love with the serial killer. For many reasons.

Michal C Hall, I know you're single right now and if I knew how to get in touch with you, I will propose to you!

With this new love/infatuation I've been having for Michael, I've also started to watch Six Feet Under. I'm just halfway through the first season and like it already. Although it does disturb me to see Michael actively act out his gay role and that saddens me a bit. Oh well, it better just be acting. :) But he's talented and quite good at it!

Other than that, being spoilt with awesome home cooked meals, drinking bucket loads of iced water coz of the damned heat, checking out FB and Twitter have been on my relaxed week work list and you know what, I feel energised and so good!

I've also had time to think about some things that I want to do and how to action them. Lets hope they work out well.

I also managed to watch Thor and Chris Hemsworth is now officially MY THUNDER GOD! These beautiful creations of nature are indeed fabulous and I'm very thankful to them! :-) Yes DramaQueen I know you're smiling wide right now and yeah you were right.. :-)

Now I'm off to watch Rio. Finally managed to get a DVD copy and that's how my holiday will end. With the blue bird.

Turning 27....

Tomorrow, at the dawn of 3rd May, I'll be an year older than I'm right now...

Getting older just ain't fun anymore.

So I hope to pitch in with my mum to give alms to 55 monks..:)
