Day turns into night
time passes by
filled with mixed
emotions on fire
thoughts that count
enliven and destroy
this fragile mind
and heart at bay.
Like a time bomb
the timer goes off
no one knows
to diffuse the bomb
every single time
I reach the peak
I self destruct
all over again.
On constant repeat
the timer goes
when will this stop
the wires unwind
a break in need
a silent cry
when will this timer
stop it's cycle.
